Job description

Scripps Mercy Hospital has served central and downtown San Diego since 1890 and is the oldest medical center in the county. The San Diego campus is located near the corner of 5th Avenue and Washington Street in Hillcrest.

Scripps Mercy Hospital consists of two campuses in San Diego and Chula Vista. 

Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego’s campus includes the O’Toole Breast Care Center, a 24-hour emergency room that is a Level I Trauma Center, outpatient physical rehabilitation, minimally invasive robotic surgery and our childbirth unit (including a Level II neonatal intensive care unit).

This is an Interventional Radiology Tech  position located at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. It is casual status also known as per diem position with a 10-hour varied shift.  We require availability throughout the week and weekends and to  participate in call rotation.

Responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and Pl activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • CRT
  • Fluoro
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology
  • Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ARRT (VI) Vascular Interventional Radiography
  •  1-2 years of experience.
  •  Knowledge of patient focused care delivery

Position Pay Range: $59.81-$86.71/hour
