Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Screw Machine Setup / Operator to join our dynamic team in Mason, OH. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production process, ensuring that our screw machines operate efficiently and effectively. Shifts:

4 x 10 hours shifts 6am start. Monday to Thursday

Overtime on Friday available.

Can be flexible to work 5 x 8 hour shifts Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate screw machines to produce high-quality components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining preferred.
  • Proven experience as a screw machine operator or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles and practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience with either Acmes, Davenports, Brown, Sharpes or Hydromats
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
