Job description

With over 15 years of experience serving the Edmond and OKC area, Avalanche Print Company is a premier provider of high-quality embroidery, screen printing, and promotional products. We pride ourselves on helping brands stand out through meticulous craftsmanship. We aren’t just looking for someone to "push a button"—we are looking for a dedicated professional who treats every garment like a piece of art and every work order like a blueprint.

The Role -

We are seeking a dedicated Embroidery Machine Operator & Quality Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a "detective’s eye" for detail. Your mission is to be our Quality Gatekeeper, ensuring that every item leaving our facility meets our high standards. You are the final line of defense, catching clerical or technical errors before they ever hit the fabric.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production & Operation: Set up and operate multi-head embroidery machines, including hooping, threading, and manual tension adjustments.
  • Quality Assurance: Review Purchase Orders (POs) with extreme precision. You will be responsible for flagging discrepancies—such as incorrect thread colors, misspelled names, or improper logo placement—prior to production.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Independently troubleshoot minor mechanical issues (thread breaks, bird-nesting) and workflow hurdles.
  • Machine Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and oiling to ensure equipment longevity and peak performance.
  • Output Management: Consistently meet daily production targets while upholding strict quality benchmarks.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Unrivaled Attention to Detail: You naturally notice the small things that others overlook.
  • Focused & Motivated: The ability to stay "in the zone" and maintain high productivity in a busy warehouse setting.
  • Technical Literacy: Proficient in reading and interpreting complex work orders and digital embroidery files.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks, such as hooping and reaching.
  • Experience: Prior experience with commercial embroidery machines (e.g., Tajima, Barudan, Melco) is a significant plus. We are willing to train the right person if they possess a stellar attitude and a drive to learn.

Commitment

  • Reliability: High priority. We operate as a synchronized team; consistent attendance is vital to our collective success.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons or to meet tight client deadlines.

Why Join Us?

At Avalanche Print Company, we value employees who take true ownership of their station. If you prefer to work hard, solve problems independently, and take pride in seeing a tangible, high-quality product at the end of the day, you’ll fit right in.
