In the SCP universe, employees work in various roles such as researchers, field agents, security personnel, and containment specialists to study and contain paranormal phenomena. These jobs are purely fictional and part of a creative storytelling community. Fans of the SCP Foundation often create detailed lore and roleplay different job positions within the organization.

What is the SCP Foundation?

The SCP Foundation is a fictional organization featured in collaborative writing and storytelling projects, primarily hosted on the SCP Wiki. It is depicted as a secret organization that secures, contains, and protects anomalous objects, entities, and phenomena that defy natural law. The Foundation’s main mission is to keep these anomalies hidden from the public to prevent mass panic and maintain normalcy. The SCP universe is built through community-contributed stories, articles, and case files, often written in a scientific or bureaucratic tone. It has inspired a large online fandom, as well as games and other media.
