Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as an INDUSTRIAL SECURITY OFFICER supporting a national security program for our prestigious client at the highest levels of the government in the heart of our nations capital. As an Industrial Security Officer, you provide expertise in multi-discipline security services in a sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) environment. You act as the subject matter expert for our government client and exhibit the exceptional technical skills to resolve issues as quickly and efficiently as possible. HOW AN INDUSTRIAL SECURITY OFFICER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Managing the SCIFs security profile, ensuring it meets standards to maintain its accreditation.
  • Ensuring security systems protecting facilities and assets are maintained at 100% operating capacity.
  • Identifying viable mitigation measures and corrective actions needed to regain minimum security standards where necessary.
  • Administering the day-to-day security operations of the facility.
  • Servicing customers.
  • Overseeing the accountability and sustainment of high-value security systems to support the Governments mission.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Required Experience: BA/BS and 10+ years of experience, including 3+ years of experience in SCIF management covering all disciplines.
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Experience as a special security representative (SSR), contractor special security officer (CSSO) or facility security officer (FSO) with requisite certifications/course completions; detailed understanding of NISPOM, ICD 704, and ICD 705.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience in operating badging systems to create and program credentials; managing area surveillance CCTV recordings and key control mechanisms; and handling deployable sensitive, high-value equipment
  • Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
  • Location: On Customer Site, Arlington, VA

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
