The Opportunity:
Responsible for producing, writing clear, concise, and accurate technical and programmatic documentation to include user manuals, guides, white papers, design specifications, manuals, on-line help, contract deliverables, procedures, plans, and proposals. Gathers information, interviews subject matter experts, and conducts other research in order to convey technical material in a concise and effective manner.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Program Manager, functional leads, subject matter experts, engineers, and developers to gather technical details
  • Conduct independent research on industry standards and product specifications
  • Create user manuals, instruction guides, FAQs, whitepapers, design specification, technical reports and the like
  • Organize and structure content being able to follow both customer templates and program needs
  • Develop templates and documentation frameworks to maintain consistency
  • Document management and version control using tools such as Confluence, SharePoint and other online tools
  • Adapt writing style and complexity based on the target audience
  • Ensure compliance and standards adherence
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, QA teams and support teams to align documentation with product updates

Qualifications:
Required:
  • TS/SCI w/Poly
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Strong writing, researching, and creating content
  • Ability to understand and explain complex technical
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker)
  • Familiarity with markup languages (e.g., HTML, XML)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
