Kratos is looking for Engineering Students who would like to work on challenging technical problems for our Summer Internship Program. Interns will have the opportunity to work with experienced engineers using the latest state-of-the-art technology! Kratos Interns work on customer projects, creating solutions that will be used in real world applications. You will also have the opportunity to perform system design, code development in C++, Python, VHDL, and other coding languages, as well as a variety of other challenging tasks. In addition, interns will be given the chance to demonstrate written and verbal communication skills.

This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO.


  • Coursework towards Bachelor of Science Computer Science/ Master of Science Computer Science, Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering/ Master of Science Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Science Computer Engineering/ Master of Science Computer Engineering (or related engineering major), with strong GPA
  • Minimum 2 years of completed coursework
  • Experience in real-time, embedded software design with an emphasis on C++ and/or VHDL/Verilog
  • Experience creating and delivering complex technical presentations
  • Communication theory or Digital Signal Processing knowledge a plus
  • Currently enrolled in an engineering program. (Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Development)
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance is required
