Job Title: Science Teacher (Earth Science)

Location: Browning High School
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
Academic Year: 2026-2027
Position Summary:
Browning High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher for the remaining 2025-2026 academic year. The successful candidate will be supervised by the school principal or their designee and will play a crucial role in ensuring students learn essential science concepts and skills.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare engaging science lessons that facilitate student learning.
  • Instruct and assess students to promote understanding and academic success.
  • Participate in staff development training to enhance teaching strategies.
  • Collaborate with staff, students, and parents to support student achievement.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Montana teacher certificate with the appropriate endorsement.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred:

  • Prior teaching experience in science.
  • Proficiency in technology skills.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary determined per current Teacher Master Contract based on degree and experience; Current starting salary for BA + 0 years' experience = $48,474.00
  • Benefits include Montana Teachers' Retirement, paid health insurance, paid leave, and relocation reimbursement.
