Group/Division
With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA's metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. Central Engineering is KLA's largest engineering organization comprised of 9 Centers-of-Excellence (CoE) in various disciplines applied across all product groups in the company. These CoE include Handling & Automation, Precision Motion Control, Sensors & Image Acquisition, Platform Design, and Packaging Engineering, among others. Talent includes over 500 engineers across global centers in Israel, China, India, and the US. Each CoE contributes not just talent and deliverables per discipline toward product programs, but also subject matter expertise, best practices, roadmaps, specialized facilities, apparatus, models, and analytics. Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to help modernize how engineering teams build and deliver products. With a focus on digital threads across the product lifecycle, this role connects engineering, IT, and product teams to improve visibility, execution, and data continuity.
In this role, you'll coordinate programs that integrate key engineering and program management platforms into a cohesive development ecosystem.! You'll play a hands-on role in crafting how products move from concept to delivery, balancing technical depth, cross-team collaboration, and real-world adoption.
Program Execution & Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Drive and support multiple multi-functional digital transformation programs within the engineering organization
  • Build and maintain program plans, schedules, dependencies, and risk registers
  • Track progress against milestones and proactively communicate status, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders
  • Coordinate work across engineering teams, IT partners, tool owners, and external vendors as needed

Digital Thread & Engineering Tool Integration
  • Contribute to initiatives that establish and strengthen digital threads across requirements, system architecture, develop, verification, manufacturing, and service
  • Support coordination of integration efforts between systems such as CAD, PDM, PLM, MBSE, and ALM / program management platforms
  • Partner with technical leads to understand data flows, interfaces, and integration constraints
  • Ensure program work align with broader engineering architecture, process, and scalability objectives

Engineering Process Engagement
  • Engage directly with engineering teams to understand current-state workflows and identify improvement opportunities
  • Help translate engineering and business needs into clear program scopes, requirements, and delivery plans
  • Participate in working sessions, reviews, and planning forums with cross-disciplinary teams
  • Balance standardization goals with practical adoption considerations across diverse product teams

Governance, Risk & Change Management
  • Support program governance structures, decision tracking, and issue partner concern paths
  • Identify and manage risks related to technical complexity, interdependencies, and organizational change
  • Assist with rollout and adoption activities, including documentation, communication, and feedback mechanisms

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years of demonstrated ability in technical or engineering program management, with a strong understanding of engineering product development lifecycles
  • Experience supporting programs involving engineering tools and platforms, such as CAD/PDM, PLM, MBSE or requirements management, and program or ALM tools
  • Proven track record to work effectively with both technical contributors and business team members, with strong organizational, communication, and execution skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting engineering digital transformation or tool/process change initiatives
  • Familiarity with systems engineering or MBSE concepts
  • Experience partnering with IT, enterprise applications, or engineering infrastructure teams
  • Background in hardware, systems, or multidisciplinary product development environments
  • Exposure to organizational change or phased tool adoption

Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
Base Pay Range: $105,900.00 - $180,000.00 Annually
