Job Description
Trusted Space is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager with a bachelor’s degree or higher and 8+ years of experience. The Senior Technical Program Manager will lead and manage a portfolio of programs spanning early-stage research through advanced development. Trusted Space is looking for dedicated and driven leaders as this is a high impact position that will deliver next generation warfighting capabilities to our defense and intelligence customers.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Program and Portfolio Management - Manage a portfolio of aerospace and defense programs, ensuring successful execution across multiple projects simultaneously. Own program execution including schedule, cost, and technical performance in alignment with the program statement of work. Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and business development. 

  • Contract & Financial Management - Manage programs across various government contract types. Ensure compliance with contract requirements while maintaining program profitability. Track and report program financial performance including budget, forecasting, and staffing needs. 

  • Agile Development - Lead teams operating within the Agile software development framework, ensuring alignment between program objectives and development execution.  

  • Customer Engagement and Growth - Serve as the primary program interface with customers and external stakeholders. Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities within existing programs in collaboration with business development. Support proposal efforts and follow-on opportunities related to managed programs. 

  • Risk and Performance Management - Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure program deliverables meet contractual requirements, quality standards, and technical objectives. Provide regular program status updates to executive leadership and customers. 

  • Leadership – Build teams in a collaborative fashion with an emphasis of delivering capabilities to solve warfighting challenges. Exhibit an executive level presence when briefing internal and external leaders.  

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years in aerospace & defense program and/or product management.
  • An active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Demonstrated performance leading software development teams within the agile software development methodology and DevSecOps.
  • Experience managing programs under multiple contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M).
  • Incorporate soft skills to manage cross functional teams, customers, and external stakeholders 
Desired Skills
  • Master’s degree or higher in business, engineering, or related field.
  • Experience of leading technical teams through capability acquisition events (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc).
  • Earned value management (EVMS) experience.
  • Experience supporting or leading product development programs.
  • Experience supporting proposal development or capture activities. 

Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $160,000-$230,000. Please note that this range is a general guideline and can vary. Trusted Space, LLC considers several factors when extending an offer including, but not limited to: scope, location, position responsibilities, education/training, key skills and business considerations.
