The Role:


Our site in Burnet, TX is seeking a Operations Manager to join our Operations Leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible and accountable for the Refurb Operations, focusing on safety, quality, service, and efficiency.
What You'll Do:

  • Drive Safety First mindset and lead by example the Refurb operations
  • Develop and lead strategic initiatives for team to improve key performance indicators on Safety, Quality, Customer service levels and profitability
  • Lead from front with End-to-End Accountability on Safety, Quality and Delivery issues related to Refurb Operations
  • Drive Customer Focus by partnering with other functions within organization such as Product Management, Planning, Materials, Finance, HR, while leading operations team initiatives to meet business objectives
  • Implement the Safety, Quality, Service level and cost metrics (KPI's) to drive continuous improvements at cell level operations
  • Operate the plant in accordance with EH&S requirements
  • Ensure compliance with legal and environmental safety standards
  • Develop and manage resources and capacity to achieve adequate production volumes
  • Maintain high standards of information accuracy and reporting
  • Hold self and team accountable to established processes and procedures
  • Set development goals for employees and coaches for achievement to create high performing operations team
  • Establish a continuous improvement environment as guiding operational culture
  • Drive the team to implement improvements using Lean Sigma tools and Entegris standards


What We Seek:

  • B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 6+ Years of experience in a high technology manufacturing industry, preferably serving the semiconductor industry
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in an ISO 9001 certified manufacturing environment
  • Lean, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Six Sigma training and experience required
  • Excellent communication, planning, organization and leadership skills
  • Cost effectiveness and plant budgeting work experience
  • Experience with new product introduction and site-to-site product transitions preferred
  • Flexibility to adapt to work environment, work force, and customers' needs
  • ERP experience, SAP experience would be a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting
  • Experience in working in an ISO 9001/14001/45001 environment a plus

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in an ISO 9001 Chemical plant serving the semiconductor industry

  • Practical Knowledge of SPC, Lean / Six Sigma theory and CI practices
