Job Description
Position Summary: Assists laboratory personnel in any way to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Duties include:
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
  • Dispose of samples once complete
  • Place pipettes in washer
  • Put away clean glassware, pipettes
  • Wash stoppers
  • Maintains a clean and safe laboratory work environment
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to accurately read and record results
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to learn new tasks
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and efficiently
  • Will be exposed to potential food allergens.
  • Reside within a commutable distance to Madison, WI lab.

  • Other Factors:
    • Expected to understand the process for handling hazardous wastes and receive on-the-job training for handling specific waste types in their job area
    • Mandatory immunizations and screening as required
