Position Title: Junior Content Developer Location: Redstone Arsenal Position Type: Full-Time Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Web Administrator/Content Developer with experience in website administration, content development, and web design. This role involves configuring, administering, and managing web applications and tools, while also focusing on content management to enhance decision-making and site value. The individual will be responsible for editorial activities, customer engagement, and continuous website improvement. Website/Tool Administration: Configure, manage, and administer all aspects of website and application tools to ensure proper functionality and accessibility.
Content Development & Management: Develop and manage content for multiple websites and tools, serving as a key source for information dissemination and decision-making.
Editorial Activities: Perform editorial duties, including gathering, researching, and creating content that enhances the websiteโ€™s value.
Customer Feedback & Improvement: Seek out and engage customers to gather feedback for website enhancements and ensure the user experience remains optimized.
Negotiation & Content Acquisition: Locate, negotiate, and acquire content that aligns with the website's goals and user needs.
Web Design & Standards: Ensure that web design aligns with current standards, including HTML and web graphics types, while adhering to production management best practices.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Build searches, reports, and dashboards, and write custom scripts, reports, and programs as needed to establish and track website metrics.
Architecture Documentation & Standards: Prepare architecture documentation, and assist in the design and implementation of website standards, tools, and methodologies. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in website or application management, web design, and content creation.
Strong understanding of HTML, web graphics, and production management standards.
Experience with Cybersecurity SIEM (Splunk, Elastic)
Experience with Microsoft Power Platforms (PowerBI, Power App, Power Automate)
Experience with Atlassian Software products (JIRA, Confluence, Service Desk, etc.)
Experience in creating and managing dashboards, searches, reports, and custom scripts.
Ability to gather and research information to improve site content and usability.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to gather and integrate customer feedback.
