Position Purpose
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to provide quality standards-based instruction in the area of Technology Education. Instruct students in using design applications, computer-aided drafting (CAD), or manufacturing to solve problems, while also assigning projects that address real-world constraints, assesses and encourages student progress; manages an effective learning environment to maximize student achievement.
Requirements
Instruction and Curriculum:
โ€ข Plan, develop, and implement a technology education curriculum that aligns with Indiana's state standards and district guidelines.
โ€ข Teach students about various technological concepts, including design, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
โ€ข Use a variety of instructional methods, including hands-on activities, projects, and technology-based learning tools.
โ€ข Assess student learning through projects, tests, and other assessments.
Technology Skills:
โ€ข Demonstrate proficiency in using design software, CAD software, and other relevant technologies.
โ€ข Teach students how to use these technologies effectively to solve problems and create solutions.

Project-Based Learning:
