JOB DESCRIPTION: The teacher is responsible for providing an educational atmosphere where students
have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and psychological
growth. This person is responsible for organizing and implementing an instructional program that will
result in students achieving academic success. We are looking for a teacher who has a genuine LOVE for
children and learning.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Provide a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively
engaged in the learning process. Implements instructional activities that contribute to a climate where
students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experience. Identifies, selects, and modifies
instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with carrying backgrounds, learning styles,
and special needs. Uses and analyzes date to drive instruction. Teacher maintains effective and efficient
record keeping via on-line school management system. Establishes and maintains cooperative working
relationships with students, parents, colleagues and parish.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Current Indiana Teaching License or ability to obtain one with a strong and
knowledgeable background in respective subject area/s and ability to work with various ability levels.
Candidate must promote and nourish a love of learning and an excitement for their subject matter.
Differentiated instruction, technology, and various tools must be implemented within every lesson
