3+ years exp; over 5 years would make a candidate stand out HVAC exp is a plus, along w/ any general facility maintenance exp (trade background, school maintenance for example) Needs to be self sufficient as this person will be on their own in the facilities Position Responsibilities Perform a wide range of skilled and semi‑skilled tasks to support continuous facilities operations Maintain facility mechanical, electrical, chemical, and supporting systems, as well as the overall condition and appearance of the facilities Support shipping and receiving activities, including packing and receiving items as needed Assist with scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing contractor work to ensure: Safe work practices Compliance with site standards High‑quality execution Collaborate with Manufacturing and Process Engineering teams on the installation and decommissioning of process equipment Read and work from blueprints, drawings, schematics, and rough sketches to perform installations, repairs, and system modifications Develop innovative solutions to facility and equipment issues as required Document maintenance activities, processes, and procedures; prepare written documentation and meet established timelines Apply proper industry safety procedures when working with hazardous conditions, including chemicals, high voltage, moving mechanical equipment, and radiation Qualifications Strong background in electrical and mechanical facilities equipment; semiconductor equipment installation experience is highly desired Demonstrated experience supporting one or more of the following systems: HVAC Water purification systems Gas distribution systems Chemical distribution systems Waste treatment systems Abatement and dosing systems Pumps and chillers Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working around hazardous chemicals Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to deliver high‑quality results in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Associate's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a related technical field OR equivalent hands‑on experience in a related role Physical Demands and Work Conditions The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this role: Work may be performed in: Confined spaces Cleanroom environments Awkward positions Elevated heights Requires mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift and carry objects up to 35 pounds May require bending, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and climbing Ability to walk 10,000+ steps per shift, including frequent climbing of multiple flights of stairs during 8‑hour shifts Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, and cleanroom garments worn for extended periods Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Occasional overnight travel may be required to TEL factories, training facilities, and customer locations Equal Opportunity Statement Equal Opportunity Employer — Minorities / Females / Disabled / Veterans
