Job description

Assistant Food Service Director needed for school food service in the Princeton/ Trenton/ Hamilton, NJ area. Day shift position, no weekends or holidays, summers off! Must possess strong management and leadership skills, experience in food service is required. Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in a school district.
Position is for the 2026/2027 school year. ServSafe® Certification is required.
Duties to include:
  • Overseeing the needs of the school district.
  • Professional client communication.
  • Assure that staff is maintaining the highest food safety and quality.
  • Work hand and hand with the food service director.
  • Must maintain a full staff, hire as needed.
  • Assign training as needed.
  • Assist in counseling/ and or disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
