Job description

Are you passionate about sports and youth development? Do you have the skills to inspire and lead young athletes? We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic high school coaches to join our dynamic team at Belle Fourche High School. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives through athletics.
**Position:** High School Coach
**Location:** Belle Fourche, SD
**Job Type:** Part-time/Seasonal
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement training programs for student-athletes in your designated sport.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and competitive team environment.
- Teach fundamental skills, strategies, and sportsmanship.
- Organize and conduct practices, games, and team meetings.
- Collaborate with parents, faculty, and administration to promote the athletic program.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes during practices and competitions.
- Monitor academic performance and encourage student-athletes to excel in their studies.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous coaching experience or a strong background in the sport you wish to coach.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Knowledge of rules, regulations, and best practices in high school athletics.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- A commitment to fostering a positive and respectful team culture.

Fundamentals of Coaching or equivalent
Sports First Aid or Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries
Concussion in sports
Heat Illness Prevention
The Collapsed Athlete
