Job Title

University Home Care Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage prior authorizations and scheduling for our skilled agency.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely access to care for our patients by coordinating with healthcare providers and insurance companies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule skilled nursing and therapy visits based on patient needs, provider availability, and agency capacity.
  • Maintain accurate records of prior authorizations and scheduling activities within our electronic systems.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives to resolve authorization and scheduling issues.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding authorizations to prevent delays in care delivery.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize patient care schedules and authorization processes.
Requirements
