Human Resource OfficerAmerican Heritage School is seeking a part-time HR Officer to support hiring, benefits, and employee records as Salt Lake City campus expands. ResponsibilitiesManage the hiring process from posting through offer: publish job openings, review applications, screen candidates, and schedule and coordinate interviewsCorrespond with applicants and hiring managers throughout the searchPrepare new-hire paperwork and maintain accurate, confidential personnel recordsCoordinate annual open enrollment and serve as a first point of contact for employee benefits questionsSchedule and track year-end performance reviews and follow up on completionProvide clerical and administrative support to faculty and staff on HR mattersQualificationsCompetent writing and communication skills, with proven discretion in handling confidential informationPrevious experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookStrong organizational skills and attention to detailWillingness to learn new systems and skills as the office expandsPosition DetailsApproximately 20 hours per weekIncludes tuition credit benefitCandidates are expected to uphold the school's Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off-campus. Accepting applications until the position is filled.
