About the Role

We are looking for a Scheduler to join our Scheduling team on our project site in Hampton, GA. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage baseline schedules using CPM best practices, including detailed WBS for schedules with 2,500+ activities.
  • Run weekly meetings to update construction schedules via job walks and superintendent live updates.
  • Create, maintain, and edit layouts in Primavera P6 to efficiently update schedules, generate reports, and analyze critical paths.
  • Identify variances from previous baselines and filter work by trades, time frames, or areas to create custom reports.
  • Resource-load baseline schedules to track earned value metrics and maintain cost and duration accuracy.
  • Create Time Impact Analysis (TIA) reports using historical data from CPM tools.
  • Use Excel to analyze large data sets and multiple schedules.
  • Interface directly with clients to address concerns and requests.
  • Manage mid-month and end-of-month deliverables, including .xer files, critical path reports, full schedules, 6-week look-ahead reports, and schedule narratives.
  • Mentor, train, and assist in the professional development of junior schedulers.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Preferably 5+ years of commercial construction management and/or scheduling experience.
  • Familiarity with the construction process to identify and discuss potential issues and suggest mitigations.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Experience coordinating schedule development and management with project supervision, owners, and subcontractors/vendors.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a large team environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience mentoring and training junior schedulers.
