PRISM is seeking a Senior Desktop Engineer (MECM/SCCM) to lead the modernization and administration of our enterprise, mission-critical endpoint environment. You will own the full lifecycle of MECM infrastructure from architectural design and image creation to automated patch management and Tier III troubleshooting, while delivering a secure, high-performance desktop experience across physical and virtual (VDI) networks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Infrastructure Management: Administer and optimize the MECM hierarchy (Site Servers, DPs, and MPs) to ensure 100% client health and deployment accuracy. OSD & Imaging: Design and maintain universal boot images, driver packages, and complex Task Sequences for bare-metal, refresh, and VDI environments. Application Lifecycle: Package, test, and deploy enterprise applications; develop custom automation scripts (PowerShell) for seamless software delivery.

Security & Compliance: Execute quarterly VDI image updates and monthly patch cycles; design automated remediation baselines to ensure adherence to governement agencies' policy compliance. Tier III Support: Act as the final escalation point for complex hardware/software conflicts, analyzing deployment failures to identify and resolve systemic trends. Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Data Center and Network Defense teams to document configurations and mentor junior staff on new technology deployments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS/EDUCATION) BS + 9 years of experience in Desktop Engineering and Data Center Operations. 2+ years of hands-on MECM management (Applications, Packages, and Task Sequences). Active IAT-II (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, or Similar).
