Position OverviewThe Asst Coord, Scan is responsible for ensuring file integrity throughout the store. This role performs daily/weekly price audits/changes, as well as interacting with vendors and receiver to ensure authorized merchandise is brought into the store and verifying correct prices in system/on shelves. They will also be responsible for providing attentive and friendly customer service.Job Description

Description

  • Create signs and tags to maintain accurate pricing throughout the store
  • Maintain accurate pricing files for all departments
  • Minimize shrink by ensuring all price discrepancies are resolved immediately
  • Interact with Receiver and vendors
  • Ensure all equipment is treated/maintained properly
  • Complete all applicable paperwork
  • Follow direction from the scan coordinator
  • Travel Required:No

Environment

  • Store : Store/Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

Skills

  • Specialized Knowledge : Regular vision and attention to detail. Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions. Basic working knowledge of computers.
  • Special Skills : Ability to learn, differentiate, and retain information regarding product lines/locations . Promote sales through courteous and friendly customer service.
  • Physical abilities: : Occasional amounts of pushing/pulling loads up to 20 lb. Frequent amounts of handling, standing, and reaching. Constant amounts of walking, crouching, and bending.
  • Other: : Operation of the following: cash register, video display unit, POS, printer, computer, and pricing gun.
