Seasonal - Scanning Attendant

Downhill Ski Resort - Truckee, CA

Overview

Salary Range $17.00 - $23.46 Hourly Position Type Seasonal Job Shift Any

Description

The Scanning Attendant is responsible for monitoring lift lines, checking/scanning lift tickets and season passes at assigned aerial and surface lifts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provides excellent customer service to customers, employees and business partners.
  • Develops a comprehensive understanding of many facets of the ski area operation to better assist with guest questions.
  • Provide a fund and welcoming atmosphere while monitoring guest lift usage by checking/scanning tickets and season passes for validity.
  • Controls the lift access lines in the lift mazes.
  • Assists with snow removal including shoveling and clearing snow from walkways, stairs and other areas as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrates excellent communication and "People" skills; Must love interacting with people.
  • Prior customer service experience required.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certifications are recommended.

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through up to one month of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of formal training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform all of the duties of the position.
