Job description

Inventory Specialist

The Inventory Specialist's primary responsibility will be conducting physical inventory at each of the company's locations yearly. This may be individually or part of the inventory team. Secondary responsibilities will include merchandising of company stock rooms, training location parts clerks, and assistance with inventory compliance via company reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs physical inventories at company locations individually with the assistance of the inventory team
  • Inventory merchandising and stockroom resets.
  • Training parts clerks on company standards, inventory processes, and RF Scanners
  • Prepare inventory reporting along with assisting with compliance
  • Assist with Warehouse Operations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Excellent and precise data entry and typing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently

Travel

  • 50-75%

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Some data entry experience preferred
  • Dynamics 365 experience preferred, not required

Physical Demands
