What is a scale?

Scale jobs typically refer to roles involved in scaling a business, project, or system to handle increased growth, demand, or complexity. These positions often focus on optimizing processes, expanding infrastructure, and ensuring that operations can efficiently support larger volumes. Common scale roles exist in technology (like scaling software systems), operations, and startups aiming for rapid growth. Professionals in these jobs are skilled at problem-solving, automation, and strategic planning to ensure seamless expansion.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a scale operator?

To thrive as a Scale Operator, you need attention to detail, basic math skills, and familiarity with weight measurement, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in operating digital and manual scales, as well as using inventory and logistics management software, is typically required. Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and effective communication make someone stand out in this position. These skills ensure precise measurements, regulatory compliance, and smooth workflow in shipping, manufacturing, or logistics environments.

What are the most common challenges faced by professionals working in scale-up operations, and how can they be addressed?

Professionals in scale-up operations often encounter challenges such as managing rapid growth, optimizing processes for increased volume, and maintaining quality while scaling. Balancing the need for agility with the implementation of more structured workflows is also a common hurdle. Successful scale-up teams address these challenges by prioritizing clear communication, leveraging data-driven decision-making, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Job description

Scale Sales Teams is seeking a full-time sales professional for its Atlanta, GA city team. This fully remote role is designed for someone who can lead thoughtful business conversations, evaluate prospective clients' needs, and help qualified prospects determine whether the company's services align with what they are trying to accomplish.
About Scale Sales Teams
Scale Sales Teams helps consultants, agencies, and digital businesses improve their sales systems, build effective sales teams, and apply modern AI-assisted approaches to client acquisition. The company's experience includes environments associated with recognized names such as Les Brown and Russell Brunson.
What You Will Be Doing
This position operates within an existing sales and client-acquisition system rather than requiring the salesperson to create every opportunity through cold outreach. Prospects may already have expressed interest and scheduled time to learn more, allowing the sales professional to focus heavily on discovery, communication, qualification, and helping potential clients make informed decisions.
Responsibilities can include:
Leading scheduled sales conversations through Zoom and phone
Understanding a prospect's business, goals, challenges, and current circumstances
Evaluating whether the prospect and an available solution are a legitimate match
Clearly presenting relevant solutions to qualified prospects
Responding professionally to questions, concerns, and objections
Following up with active sales opportunities when appropriate
Maintaining accurate CRM records, pipeline information, and conversation notes
Working toward individual and team performance objectives
What Is Already In Place
The sales operation includes defined processes, established frameworks, lead-generation infrastructure, AI-assisted marketing and prospecting systems, ongoing support, and access to pre-scheduled qualified appointments.
Because these foundational systems already exist, the role places significant emphasis on the human side of sales: listening carefully, diagnosing business problems, developing trust, communicating clearly, navigating concerns, and helping qualified buyers evaluate possible solutions.
What We Look For
Background in sales, closing, appointment setting, or business development may be relevant. Candidates should be comfortable communicating remotely through Zoom and phone while following an established sales process in a natural and professional manner.
The position also requires personal accountability, consistent remote productivity, openness to coaching, and a willingness to improve through feedback and repetition. Previous remote sales experience can be helpful, although it is not the sole factor considered.
Strong communication, work ethic, coachability, competitiveness, accountability, and a performance-oriented mindset are important qualities for this environment.
Applicants may be located in the United States or internationally.
