Description


This position is primarily responsible for operating Dem-Con's scale with a high level of customer interaction. This position requires aptitude of waste acceptance, pricing, and facility operations at Dem-Con.ย 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Greet and direct customers entering the facility.
  • Monitor all inbound and outbound traffic and operate all scale house functions.
  • Operate scales using systems to weigh trucks, issue tickets, maintain accurate records and report materials being transported.
  • Weigh vehicles accurately utilizing scale software.
  • Troubleshoot software and other technology associated with scale.
  • Measure trucks and trailers.
  • Understand Dem-Con's waste acceptance policies and enforce these policies with customers entering the facility.ย 
  • Print tickets and manage manifests for all inbound and outbound traffic.
  • Balance the cash drawer daily.
  • Comply with all company policies/procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalentย 
  • Previous experience using MS Office products
  • Proficient with computer sย 
  • Ability to learn new software programs
  • Ability to work some Saturdays ย
