Position at JBS USA
This position will be important to the Feed Mill as you are the individual that interacts with grain customers, accounting support and outside operations.
This position requires a pleasant personality, good written and oral communication skills, the ability to multi-task, a high degree of accuracy, good computer skills and accurate data entry skills. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities and activities throughout each day with a high degree of accuracy. The ability to positively work with our Employees, our suppliers, local customers and the surrounding community is critical for this position.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Coordinate the receiving function for inbound grain and ingredients:

  • Operate a truck scale and the accompanying computer systems to receive grain and bulk feed ingredients into the mill.

  • Grade all inbound grain shipments.

  • Print tickets associated with grain and feed ingredients as they are received.
  • Coordinate with outside operations and grain customers to direct them where to dump
  • Print new corn contract report as needed.
  • Export grain tickets received each day to the Oakville office
  • Work closely with TriOak milling departments on order changes and updates.
  • Run errands outside of the mill as needed.

  • Pleasantly greet all customers and visitors and direct them to the proper places.

  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the proper people.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Dynamics Great Plains and Agris software would be helpful.
  • Prior experience working as an office assistant in a professional environment.
  • Experience in grain handling.
