Role: Java Developer with Scala or Scala Developer (04 opening)
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid Model)
Duration: 12+ months Contract

One who can work Onsite is preferred

NOTE: i94 copy is required with all submissions (H1B)

Overview:

The ideal candidate will have at least one of the following technical skills.

  • High degree of competence with Java Software Development with Scala
  • High degree of competence with Scala Software Development

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience.

  • Min-7+ years' experience required
  • Good experience writing software using a modern programming language (e.g. Java, Scala, Python)
  • Experience writing/maintaining regression tests (using Fitnesse/Cucumber)
  • Experience and knowledge of Apache Spark
  • Good software development foundation (i.e., data structures, design patterns & principles)
  • Good grip on agile software development methodology (e.g., Scrum)
  • Ownership & problem-solving mindset
  • Curious, inquisitive, independent
