Software Developer

Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, create, build, and evaluate software applications and systems emphasizing search technologies.
  • Transform business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable code using standard programming methods.
  • Cooperate with diverse teams to grasp product requirements and assign development tasks efficiently.
  • Lead the planning and execution of new features and improvements in various system components.
  • Complete and engage in unit, system, performance, and acceptance testing and propose and implement enhancements.
  • Promote innovation in search technologies, keeping up with emerging tools and trends.
  • Direct the creation and interpretation of technical requirements and specifications.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to Computer Science.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Proficient in Java, Scala, and Python.
  • Advanced knowledge in:Java, Object-Oriented Design.Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Gradle.RESTful web services.Search technologies like full-text search and indexing (e.g., Lucene, Solr).Large-scale search systems and search architecture.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies and the Hadoop ecosystem.
  • Thorough understanding of Linux/Unix systems and database design fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication skills—oral, written, and presentation.
  • Resourceful problem-solving and creative thinking.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with AI-supported coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Desktop).
  • Knowledge of Graph Search and vector databases.
  • Hands-on experience in developing applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
  • Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Expertise in performance optimization and stress testing.
