We are seeking a Senior SCADA Engineer with a strong electrical and panel-building background. This is a hands-on, client-facing senior engineering role supporting water/wastewater, utility, and critical infrastructure clients across the NYC region. You'll lead design and implementation of Allen-Bradley-based control systems, from panel layout through SCADA integration and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, build, and commissioning of industrial control panels (UL 508A standards) for SCADA and process control applications.
- Develop and maintain PLC programs on Allen-Bradley platforms (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000/500).
- Engineer electrical schematics, panel layouts, BOMs, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent.
- Integrate field instrumentation, VFDs, motor starters, network switches, and I/O with SCADA HMI platforms (AVEVA / Wonderware, FactoryTalk View, or Ignition).
- Conduct FAT, SAT, loop checks, and on-site commissioning at client facilities.
- Support OT network architecture, including industrial Ethernet, ICCP where applicable, and segmentation/cybersecurity best practices (NIST 800-82, IEC 62443 awareness).
- Mentor junior engineers and panel technicians; review designs and red-line drawings.
- Interface directly with client engineering, operations, and project management teams.

Required Qualifications
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering** (or closely related discipline).
- 10–12 years of progressive experience in industrial controls, SCADA, or panel engineering.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation** PLC and HMI platforms.
- Demonstrated panel-building experience to UL 508A; ability to read, mark up, and produce electrical schematics.
- Strong working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and grounding/bonding for control panels.
- Experience commissioning systems in live industrial environments (water/wastewater, power, manufacturing, or similar).
- Based in or willing to relocate to the NYC metro area; able to work on-site at client locations across the five boroughs and surrounding region.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AVEVA / OSIsoft PI, Wonderware, or Ignition SCADA stacks.
- Familiarity with Dell VxRail or virtualized SCADA infrastructure.
- Palo Alto or comparable OT firewall exposure.
- PE license (NY) or EIT track toward PE.
