What jobs will be eliminated?

The Sawstop job typically involves operating or maintaining saw safety systems, and automation or technological advancements in manufacturing could reduce the need for manual saw operators. However, specific job eliminations depend on industry adoption and company practices, and new roles may emerge in safety system installation and maintenance.

Is SawStop worth it?

SawStop is a brand of table saws known for their safety features, including a brake system that stops the blade upon contact with skin. For woodworking professionals and serious hobbyists, the safety benefits and reduced injury risk can justify the higher cost compared to standard saws. However, the decision depends on individual safety priorities and budget considerations.
