Job Description

Preferred
At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle stages
Certification in SAS.
At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects
Minimum of 4+ years of hands on SAS Enterprise Guide experience.
At least 2 years of experience in Design and Architecture review
At least 2 years of experience in application support and maintenance (including some experience on-call support)
Experience in full software development lifecycle of the Data Warehousing Project.
Strong knowledge of SAS: Access Data, Managing Data , Handling Errors, Macro Processing , Advanced Programming Techniques.
Strong knowledge of SAS architecture.
Knowledge of Efficient ways to flow huge data from various data sources (Teradata/Oracle) to SAS and vice versa.
SAS Debugging techniques.
Hands on Knowledge on SAS Concepts - Invoking SAS through UNIX, SAS Procedures.
Understand the various SAS Report Generation.
Experience on Query Tuning mechanisms in Teradata.
Efficient in Writing Proc SQL's with complex joins ,aggregations, UNIX Scripts
Good understanding of Data Warehouse Modeling concepts.
Experience in using SAS built in Functions
Must be able to provide Solutions or Enhancements to fix the data issues quickly when reported by the clients or users.
Good Analytical skills

Qualifications

Qualificationsย Basic
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
Minimum of 4+ years of work experience in the Information Technology Field.
