What are sardine jobs?

Sardine jobs typically refer to positions within companies that process, package, or distribute sardines, which are small, oily fish commonly found in cans at grocery stores. These jobs can include roles in fishing, quality control, packaging, distribution, and even product development. Employees may work in canneries, on fishing vessels, or in facilities focused on seafood processing. The work often involves ensuring that sardines are harvested, processed, and shipped according to food safety regulations. These jobs are important in making sardine products available to consumers worldwide.

What types of collaboration can a Sardine Quality Control Technician expect when working in a seafood processing facility?

As a Sardine Quality Control Technician, you will work closely with production line workers, supervisors, and regulatory compliance officers to ensure all sardine products meet safety and quality standards. Daily responsibilities often include conducting inspections, collecting samples, and documenting findings. Effective communication and teamwork are essential, as you'll need to coordinate with different departments to address any issues promptly and implement corrective actions when necessary. This collaborative environment helps maintain product integrity and supports continuous improvement within the facility.

Location:
  • Remote - AUS

  • From Home / Beach / Mountain / Cafe / Anywhere!

  • We are a remote-first company with a globally distributed team. You can find your productive zone and work from there.

About the role

The Integration Team plays a critical role in helping customers deploy Sardine’s fraud, risk, and compliance products quickly and successfully, serving as the technical bridge between customer environments and our platform.

You'll own implementations end to end, working across APIs, webhooks, data mapping, event-driven workflows, and production issues to deliver scalable, high-quality integrations. You’ll partner closely with customers and cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and post-sales to solve technical problems, unblock deployments, and create a best-in-class implementation experience.

We’re looking for people who are deeply technical, highly hands-on, and excited to build in a fast-paced startup environment, whether as a strong individual contributor or as a player-coach helping lead and grow the team.

What you’ll be doing
  • Work closely with clients and provide end-to-end support during their onboarding process, setting our clients up for success

  • Own APIs, SDK documentation, integration guides, and overall support documents

  • Analyze clients' requirements from the technical and functional perspectives and design solutions by having a deep understanding of our system and products' capabilities

  • Manage implementation projects, including monitoring project quality, managing timelines, mitigating risk, and driving deliverables

  • Build a deep understanding of customers' business problems, technical requirements, and success criteria so that you can provide solutions utilizing Sardine's technology

  • Provide product feedback to internal stakeholders as the eyes and ears on the ground

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience as an implementation manager, integrations engineer, technical account manager, solution architect, OR systems analyst, working with multiple technical teams, both internal and external

  • 3+ years of B2B SaaS experience working in the relevant domain (payment, fraud, risk, or compliance)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts to technical and non-technical personas

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive deliverables to completion

  • Experience with basic SQL querying and JSON payload analysis

  • Experience with APIs specs like OpenAPI, web development, and writing scripts to build internal tools (e.g., bash scripting, Python, SQL, Ruby, Golang, Postman)

Benefits we offer:
  • Generous compensation in cash and equity

  • Early exercise for all options, including pre-vested

  • Work from anywhere: Remote-first Culture

  • Flexible paid time off and Year-end break

  • Health insurance, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents - US and Canada specific

  • 4% matching in 401k / RRSP - US and Canada specific

  • MacBook Pro delivered to your door

  • One-time stipend to set up a home office — desk, chair, screen, etc.

  • Monthly meal stipend

  • Monthly social meet-up stipend

  • Annual health and wellness stipend
