Job description

Purpose

Responsible for planning, conducting and directing the analysis of extremely complex business
problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical assistance in identifying,
evaluating and developing systems and procedures, which are cost effective and meet user
requirements. Creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Directs the
translations of functions to be automated. Designs details of automated systems. Provides
consultation to users in the area of automated systems. Has system wide responsibility for
complex components of the company's integrated business system as it relates to current and
future business developments. May supervise or provide direction for the entire work group or
project team. Work is of critical nature to the business and requires this position to strong
influence at work group / management / customer / user level. Solves highly technical, complex
problems. May write proposals and price phases of integrated system projects.

Knowledge/Experience
  • Minimum of five years of experience working in related business areas with eight years experience working with integrated, enterprise wide business systems (Oracle, SAP,
    Peoplesoft)
  • Advanced working knowledge of integrated, enterprise wide business systems
  • Comprehensive understanding of an organization's integrated business functions
  • Knowledge of foreign currencies and conversions as they relate to the business.
  • Knowledge of MRC
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office products
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
