Job description

Role: SAP Analyst FM

Location: Remote (but no West Coast)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:

Provides expert level business process guidance on the Navy ERP’s SAP requirements and design. Designs and configures business processes in SAP FM to automate the management and external reporting of general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management; manages posting periods and period end closing; and enables open and integrated data flow between financial account and the other components of the SAP system. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.

Required Skills:

  • 10 or more years of SAP experience.
  • Subject Matter Expert experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP Funds Management (FM) Ex: Budgetary Ledger, FM Derivation, Budgeting and AVC Control .
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Has and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments .
  • Focus on customer service and responsiveness, with sound customer handling skills.
  • Federal experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a recognized technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise.
  • An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Skills :

  • 3 Years of Navy ERP experience.
  • Familiar with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures.
  • Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix.
  • Focus on customer service and responsiveness, with sound customer handling skills.
  • Experience in the software development lifecycle in a Tier 2 environment and postproduction support of standard and custom business solutions supporting various SAP modules, such as ECC, BW, SCM, SRM, etc.
  • SAP Production Support Experience.
  • Working knowledge of a Help Desk I/T Support System and Metrics Reporting.
  • Management of SAP issues/tickets within a team structure.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other SAP Functional/Technical teams for issue resolution.
  • General knowledge of interface monitoring and error handling process

Primary Job Duties:

  • Provide SAP FM expertise to confirm/develop business requirements definition.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand FM processes and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Implement system enhancements.
