Job Summary

Detail-oriented and dynamic SAP Senior Analyst. This role is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and enhancing SAP business processes to drive efficiency, ensure data integrity, and improve system functionality. The SAP Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting continuous improvement initiatives, automation efforts, and SAP system enhancements that align with strategic business objectives. Able to assess complex problems, weigh options, and devise practical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP processes, process mapping, and performance analysis, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration to support streamlined operations and business growth. The underlying foundation for this position is to assess the big picture to all work and guide the business in adopting SAP best practices. This role is cross functional and must possess strong capabilities in various SAP processes/modules.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze existing operational business processes and procedures to identify inefficiencies and propose enhancements that align with business needs for improved workflow efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop process maps and flowcharts to visualize current and future state processes
  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions and present findings and recommendations for adoption by process owners. Ensure all changes are documented and communicated for and adopted by relevant teams
  • Monitor and develop performance metrics to report on the performance of implemented changes.
  • Act as a liaison with process owners and the broader IT Team to collaborate on automation, optimization and streamlining processes.
  • Continuously assess and refine internal processes to enhance team productivity and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Performing SAP system testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise applications
  • Monitor data integrity within SAP, generate reports, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Supporting SAP-related projects, including upgrades, module implementations, and cross-functional initiatives
  • Identifying opportunities to automate manual processes using SAP tools such as SAP Fiori, RPA, and workflow automation
  • Regularly update and communicate project status, timelines, and risks to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide training and develop documentation to support end users in adopting new or improved SAP processes to ensure process adoption.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in process improvement methodologies, SAP and other areas relevant to the role.
  • Identify, document, and business case AI opportunities within SAP business processes, working with the IT AI program to evaluate and pilot them, and applying KLS Martin's AI usage and data governance standards.
  • Apply a structured change management approach to process rollouts, including stakeholder analysis, communications, training, and post implementation adoption measurement.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience as a Process Analyst or similar role
  • 8+ years of experience in process analysis, configuration, or system enhancements
  • Strong knowledge of business process management methodologies and understanding of SAP modules relevant to the business (e.g., MM, SD, FI, PP, WM).
  • Experience with SAP process automation, scripting, and integration capabilities
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage change and effectively pass on information to concerned teams for smoother execution.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex business processes, identify gaps, and implement solutions with proficiency in data analysis and statistical software
  • Experience working in a validated, FDA regulated, or otherwise controlled environment (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, SOX ITGC) is strongly preferred.
  • Practical use of AI tooling in analysis, documentation, and process work, with the judgment to know where it is and is not appropriate in a regulated environment.
