We are currently seeking a SAP Project Manager to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (US-WI), United States (US).

Job Description – SAP Project Manager

Day to Day Job Duties: (What this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop and maintain detailed SAP S/4HANA implementation plans, project schedules, and resource allocation plans.
  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings and project governance sessions to monitor implementation progress, resolve risks, and track deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across business and IT to support all phases of SAP implementation, including planning, design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Define and implement project management standards, templates, governance processes, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and training to project team members on project management methodologies, tools, and SAP implementation processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand current-state processes, define future-state solutions, and align project objectives with business goals.
  • Plan and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect resolution activities with business and technical teams.
  • Lead cutover planning, go-live preparation, deployment activities, and post-go-live support, ensuring smooth business transition.
  • Identify, manage, and communicate project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans to customers and executive stakeholders.
  • Work closely with customer leadership and NTT DATA delivery teams to provide regular project status updates and executive reporting.
  • Ensure projects are executed following SAP Activate methodology, Agile/Scrum practices, and organizational governance standards.

Basic Qualifications: (What are the skills required for this job with minimum years of experience on each)

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC implementation, configuration, or testing.
  • Minimum 4 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects with end-to-end delivery experience.
  • Minimum 4+ experience managing SAP implementation projects as a Project Manager or Delivery Lead.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading cross-functional and geographically distributed project teams.


Travel

  • Willingness to travel based on client and project requirements.

Nice to Have (But not a must)

  • SAP Project Management certification or PMP certification.
  • Scrum Master or Agile certification.
  • Experience managing SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation projects.
  • Experience with SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration programs.
  • Experience working in multilingual and multicultural environments.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience working in global delivery models with offshore and onsite teams.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA implementation lifecycle, project governance, and deployment methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Activate methodology and Agile frameworks, including Scrum.
  • Experience planning and managing System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover, and go-live activities.
  • Strong stakeholder management, risk management, issue management, and project reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, business users, and technical teams.
