Our team focuses on building Enterprise Application systems for manufacturing satellites. Your customers are Manufacturing, Operations and the Supply Chain teams at Kuiper.
As the SAP Manufacturing Functional Lead, you will serve as the functional expert for SAP Production Planning (PP), designing scalable, business-driven solutions that support manufacturing operations across the enterprise

You will lead the analysis, design, enhancement, implementation, and ongoing support of SAP manufacturing capabilities while ensuring alignment with SAP best practices and Clean Core principles.
You will work closely with Product Managers, SAP functional and Technical teams, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and business stakeholders to deliver integrated end-to-end manufacturing solutions. The enhancement and support of these systems is critical to scalability and cost-effective manufacturing of satellites and ground gateway terminals. To be successful you need to be highly motivated, detail oriented and effective communicator.
Key job responsibilities
- Build product vision and solutions in SAP PP / Manufacturing areas
- Ability to identify and implement best practices to optimize business processes using SAP and championing for utility/intuitiveness/simplicity of process/product while ensuring alignment to Clean Core principles
- Conduct Blueprint workshops, fit-gap analysis and produce detailed design documents reasoning from core needs, reasoning from core needs, challenging assumptions
- Participate in strategic planning, roadmap discussions for SAP PP solutions including contributions to Amazon 1yr-3yr annual planning
- Manage quarter planning, sprint planning, deployment for product feature enhancements bringing in business value, business impact and reasoning.
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring backlog items are fully defined, solution-ready, and approved before development starts, resulting in low solution churn.
- Prepare product design, functional specifications, configure, test and support implementation for all SAP RICEFW areas
- Build and support integration with cross-workstream processes - SAP EWM, QM, MM, SAP MES and PLM system
- Identify change management and training needs, support creating training documentation and lead train the trainer sessions for Product changes
- Delivered solutions improve manufacturing efficiency, inventory accuracy, quality, and production visibility.
- Defining critical metrics including - success metrics, product adoption, data driven insights into product improvement
