Job description

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we've designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.
Export Control Requirement:

Our team focuses on building Enterprise Application systems for manufacturing satellites. Your customers are Manufacturing, Operations and the Supply Chain teams at Kuiper.
As the SAP Manufacturing expert you would design solutions, enhance and support SAP Production Planning, Manufacturing and Quality management modules. And work closely in integration with SAP EWM and SAP Manufacturing execution systems. The enhancement and support of these systems is critical to scalability and cost-effective manufacturing of satellites and ground gateway terminals. To be successful you need to be highly motivated, detail oriented and effective communicator.
Key job responsibilities
- Build product vision and solutions in SAP PP / Manufacturing areas
- Ability to identify and implement best practices to optimize business processes using SAP and championing for utility/intuitiveness/simplicity of process/product
- Conduct Blueprint workshops, fit-gap analysis and produce detailed design documents reasoning from core needs, reasoning from core needs, challenging assumptions
- Identify change management and training needs, support creating training documentation and lead train the trainer sessions for Product changes
- Participate in strategic planning, roadmap discussions for SAP PP solutions including contributions to Amazon 1yr-3yr annual planning
- Manage quarter planning, sprint planning, deployment for product feature enhancements bringing in business value, business impact and reasoning.
- Defining critical metrics including - success metrics, product adoption, data driven insights into product improvement
- Prepare product design, functional specifications, configure, test and support implementation for all SAP RICEFW areas
- Build and support integration with cross-workstream processes - SAP EWM, QM, MM, SAP MES system
- Support SAP Production system for ticket resolutions, business support needs, understanding product improvement opportunities

A day in the life
Collaborate with functional owners, architects and developers to build dynamic and flexible systems to meet the emerging demands of internal customers in manufacturing. Support production system for Support tickets , bug fixes and identifying optimization opportunities to enhance overall process and system performance. Your primary role will be to understand and support business needs through solution design, configuration in SAP modules related to Manufacturing areas of PP, QM, in close integration with SAP EWM, ME, MM etc.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- 5+ years of building and implementing SAP PP/ Manufacturing solutions with at least 2 Full-cycle Implementation.
- 3+ years' experience integrating SAP S/4 with manufacturing execution systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in Implementing SAP PP/Manufacturing solutions.
- 2+ years' experience with Production Planning and detailed scheduling
- Experience working in and integrating with SAP EWM
- Experience working in onshore-offshore model
- Experience supporting manufacturing in Aerospace or automotive industry

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
