Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant with strong hands-on configuration expertise and deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across both Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM), along with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders, gather requirements, design solutions, perform configuration, support testing, and contribute to analytics and integration initiatives.

This role supports multiple concurrent projects and enhancement initiatives in a fast-paced environment. The consultant must be comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and engaging directly with business users and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead functional activities across SAP SD and MM modules, including solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment support.
  • Conduct business workshops, requirements gathering sessions, fit-gap analysis, and process design discussions.
  • Configure and support Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes within SAP SD.
  • Configure and support Procurement processes within SAP MM.
  • Develop and maintain functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend optimal SAP solutions.
  • Support analytics and reporting initiatives by translating business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Work closely with technical teams, developers, and integration partners to ensure successful delivery.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate resolution efforts across teams.
  • Manage multiple requests and project deliverables independently.

Required Skills & Experience

SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)

  • Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP SD.
  • Expertise in Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
  • Experience with:
    • Sales Order Management
    • Delivery Processing
    • Billing and Invoicing
    • Intercompany Invoicing
  • Pricing knowledge is desirable but not mandatory.

SAP MM (Materials Management)

  • Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP MM.

Additional Skills

  • Experience with SAP CRM and CRM-SD integration is preferred.

  • Experience reviewing and validating interface mapping documents.
  • Exposure to analytics and reporting projects from a functional perspective.

Qualifications

  • 10 15 years of SAP experience with strong expertise in both SD and MM modules.
