Job description

New Tech Global is currently seeking a Direct Hire Manufacturing Inventory Manager for a client in Lexington, NC.
Day shift
This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels through daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycle counts while ensuring SAP inventory records are continuously updated in real time. The role also oversees the coordination and timely delivery of materials, ensures the facility has the required supplies to support production, develops production schedules, and helps the operation meet customer demands and shipping timelines. Strong mathematical ability and organizational skills are essential. The ideal candidate must work well in a team environment, demonstrate professionalism and flexibility, and be willing to dedicate the effort needed for success.

Essential Functions
Monitor and verify inventory to ensure all materials are properly accounted for and sufficient supplies are available to fulfill customer orders.
Perform daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual physical cycle counts to maintain complete inventory accuracy.
Anticipate future or unexpected customer requirements by reviewing sales forecasts and historical order trends to keep materials stocked and production schedules prepared.
Maintain and prepare production documentation and records.
Create, adjust, organize, and prioritize production schedules according to customer demand and lead times.
Communicate and collaborate with customer service, production teams, and other SCS facilities to ensure shipping deadlines are achieved.
Generate purchase orders for materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
Arrange, track, and expedite incoming material deliveries.
Provide regular production status updates to departments including management, sales, customer service, and shipping.
Process replacement requests for materials that are lost, damaged, or received incorrectly.
Utilize the SAP system extensively to maintain inventory accuracy and keep production information updated.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of inventory control and production planning experience at a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing facility.
Advanced math skills.
Organization and multi-tasking capabilities.
Detail-oriented.
Proficiency with SAP.
Proficiency with Word and Excel.
Sense of urgency.
Experience working with inventory and tracking of Raw materials
Experience with production planning
