The Work
As an Inventory Sub-Ledger Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing inventory-related accounting processes within SAP Finance environments. You will configure and maintain the inventory sub-ledger, ensure accurate reconciliation between physical stock and financial records, support month-end and year-end close activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and strengthen internal controls. Your expertise in inventory valuation, sub-ledger accounting, and SAP integration points will be essential to maintaining accurate financial reporting and supporting audit readiness. Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, and SAP FI will enable you to navigate complex data flows and deliver reliable, timely financial information. Exposure to automation, data reconciliation techniques, and large-scale SAP implementations is highly valuable.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert consulting on Inventory Sub-Ledger processes within SAP Finance modules
  • Analyze current inventory accounting workflows and recommend SAP-based improvements
  • Configure and optimize SAP Finance solutions to meet inventory sub-ledger requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of inventory data
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to inventory sub-ledger transactions in SAP
  • Document system configurations, process changes, and best practices
  • Support end-users with training and guidance on SAP Finance inventory functionalities
  • Stay updated on SAP Finance enhancements relevant to inventory management

Here's What You Need
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP Finance environments, including inventory accounting
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, and SAP FI
  • Experience supporting financial close processes and reconciliation activities

Nice to Have
  • Experience with process automation and data reconciliation tools
  • Background supporting large-scale SAP implementations or upgrades
  • Strong collaboration skills working with both technical and business stakeholders
