Job description

Package Consultant, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Manage delivery of planning and production planning solutions that leverage SAP S4 PP/DS and SAP ATP (Available-to-Promise). Develop the solution case for demand, supply and production plan solutions to influence operational metrics and Key Process Indicators. Analyze clients' requirements planning business process to map into SAP production planning (PP) and SAP S/4HANA production planning and detail scheduling (PP/DS) software in supply network planning, production planning, detailed scheduling and distribution planning process areas. Facilitate implementation of SAP modules to enhance the clients' business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. Adopt appropriate methods, tools, training courses, techniques and knowledge resources to complete tasks and deliver work products in multiple phases of an SAP PP and S/4HANA implementation project. Develop, present and support rational conclusions, recommendations and implementation strategies and plans. Lead workshops and team of consultants and subcontractors, coordinate with other teams for successful delivery of integrated solutions and ensure development of functional and technical documentation. Manage client relationships and drive consensus on complex business solutions. Illustrate the business case and address the trade-offs between business requirements and cost. Utilize: SAP Production planning and Production Execution, SAP Quality Management, SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization, SAP WM (SAP Warehouse Management), SAP IM (SAP Inventory Management). Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Managing Consultant, SAP Consultant, Project Manager or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing SAP Production planning and Production Execution, SAP Quality Management, SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization, SAP WM (SAP Warehouse Management), SAP IM (SAP Inventory Management). $175305 to $227000 per year.
