NAVA Software solutions is looking for a Sr. SAP PP Functional Analyst
Details:
Sr. SAP PP Functional Analyst
Location: North Houston - TX - 2 days/week onsite
Duration: 6-12 months CTH
As a senior PP functional analyst, you will design, implement and deploy SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the users in documenting requirements, solution definition, implementation, and support of SAP PP component. He/She will also maintain skills in SAP architecture, applications, process design and configuration.
Responsibilities:
Position's main accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Leverage your expert knowledge of business processes and challenges related to planning, supply chain and manufacturing;
  • Work with global cross-domain teams to gather requirements and translate them to technical capabilities;
  • Provide effort estimation, solution design and project delivery;
  • Lead/Support active and upcoming projects & system Enhancements;
  • Lead analysis and design sessions to create requirements to develop the right solution;
  • Support issue resolution on production applications when necessary;

Requirements:
  • 8+ years SAP Functional experience, specializing in SAP PP module preferably in discreet manufacturing;
  • Strong configuration capabilities in SAP Production Planning and experience in Variant Configuration;
  • Experience in working with Shopfloor/Manufacturing execution systems;
  • Expertise in data conversion, LSMW and other tools for Data migration;
  • Strong functional knowledge in PP and integration experience with other ECC modules (QM, MM & WM);
  • Experience in PP integration with manufacturing execution systems (EMS);
  • Ability to work independently with minimum guidance and well versed with best practices in SAP-specifically in a manufacturing environment;
  • Ability to support a global business user base spread across Europe, Americas & APME;
  • At least 8 years of working knowledge in understanding capabilities and limitations of the technical environments and ability to translate functional requirements into feasible solutions;
  • At least 8 years of experience in enhancing standard objects and developing custom objects in SAP ECC with at least two full life cycle implementations;
  • Design, develop and deliver sustainable/scalable, global solutions that can be re-used and/or rolled out to other geographies;
  • Basic knowledge of ABAP (reading/debugging) would be nice to have
