The developer leverages expertise in SAP MDG, Object-Oriented ABAP, SAP Fiori, BRF+, and SAP development frameworks to deliver custom enhancements, workflows, interfaces, and data replication capabilities that support enterprise master data initiatives.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Develop custom applications, enhancements, and technical objects using Object-Oriented ABAP, ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), CDS Views, and SAP development best practices.
  • Configure and develop Business Rule Framework Plus (BRF+) applications, decision tables, validation rules, derivation rules, and business rule services.
  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP MDG workflows, including single-step, multi-step, sequential, and parallel approval workflows.
  • Develop and enhance SAP MDG user interfaces utilizing Floorplan Manager (FPM), SAP Fiori, Web Dynpro, OData Services, and related SAP UI technologies.
  • Configure and support the Data Replication Framework (DRF) and Data Import Framework (DIF) to synchronize master data across SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and integrated third-party systems.
  • Develop inbound and outbound interfaces utilizing IDocs, SOA Services, Web Services, APIs, and enterprise integration technologies.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Develop technical specifications and support functional design documentation.
  • Perform technical unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and defect resolution activities.
  • Support data migration, conversion, and enterprise master data implementation activities.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and support ongoing system enhancements.
  • Participate in Agile development activities, sprint planning, code management, and DevOps processes.
  • Travel on rare occasions to client sites to provide on-site support.
  • Adhere to all certified processes as part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and information security, including actively participating in quality assurance activities and ensuring the protection of sensitive information in accordance with our security policies.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years of SAP development experience with demonstrated expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) technical development (5-7 years without a Bachelor's degree).
  • Demonstrated experience developing SAP MDG technical solutions using Object-Oriented ABAP, BRF+, SAP Fiori, Floorplan Manager (FPM), Web Dynpro, OData Services, CDS Views, and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).

  • Strong understanding of SAP MDG architecture, Central Governance, Mass Processing, and Data Quality Management (DQM).
  • Experience supporting one or more SAP master data domains, including Business Partner, Customer, Supplier, Material Master, or Financial Master Data.
  • Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, or enterprise modernization initiatives.
  • Experience gathering technical requirements, developing technical specifications, and supporting solution delivery.
  • Ability to exercise judgment within defined practices and resolve moderately complex SAP MDG technical issues with minimal oversight.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).

Nice to Have:
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations, federal ERP modernization programs, or Department of Defense (DoD) SAP environments.
  • Experience with SAP Activate methodology, Agile (Scrum), DevOps practices, JIRA, ATC checks, and CI/CD pipelines.
