Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Sanitation Lead to oversee and support sanitation operations within a food manufacturing/warehouse environment. The Sanitation Lead will ensure all equipment, production areas, and facilities are cleaned and sanitized according to company, USDA, FDA, and GMP standards while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:
  • Lead and supervise sanitation team members during daily cleaning operations
  • Ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, floors, drains, walls, and work areas
  • Train employees on sanitation procedures, chemical handling, PPE usage, and safety protocols
  • Inspect completed sanitation work to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
  • Maintain documentation, sanitation logs, and cleaning records
  • Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, USDA, FDA, and OSHA regulations
  • Safely handle and mix sanitation chemicals according to SDS guidelines
  • Monitor inventory of sanitation supplies and notify management when supplies need to be reordered
  • Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure equipment is properly cleaned and ready for operation
  • Identify and report equipment issues or safety concerns
  • Assist management with audits and corrective actions
  • Promote a positive team environment and maintain productivity standards
