Job description

About the Role:
Ferrero/Fannie May is looking for a dedicated Sanitation Clerk to help deliver the quality that is known and loved by every Ferrero/Fannie May customer for over 100 years. As a Sanitation Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence within our facility. You will support the Sanitation Department by ensuring all cleaning and sanitation activities are properly documented and completed, supplies are managed efficiently, and sanitation schedules are followed to meet regulatory and company standards.
There are two positions available, both on 1st shift - 6:00AM - 2:30PM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. May be required to work overtime including Saturdays as needed.

Main Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Environmental cleaning (trash collection and removal, facilities cleaning, etc).
  • Washroom cleaning activities.
  • Equipment cleaning (machines, drains, etc).
  • Expected to work safely, and efficiently.
  • Work any assignment as directed by lead/supervisor.
  • Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Responsible for upholding and maintaining food safety and quality systems.
  • Monitor compliance of environmental regulations and provide guidance with compliance of regulatory audits.

About You:
Education or Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Understanding of basic arithmetic, reading level to understand instructions, policies, and procedures.

Physical
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing for extended periods, frequently repeated manual tasks.
