• Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions as required for the Industrial Sandblaster & Painter position in Bridgeview, IL, US.
• Perform tasks in confined spaces, at heights, and in elevators.
• Handle chemicals and other hazardous materials while on the job.
• Be willing to work evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays based on client and business demands.
• Overtime opportunities are available according to business requirements.
• Be prepared for potential out-of-town travel with transportation, accommodation, and per diem provided.
• The ability to lift 100 pounds or more is necessary.
• Adhere to all safety regulations on-site.
• Must be able to follow instructions effectively and be receptive to feedback.
• Communicate with clients to determine their needs and advise them on the right approach
• Match and mix paint to job specifications.
• Cover trim, fixtures, furniture, and floors to protect them from paint.
• Assemble scaffolding when required.
• Fill holes and cracks with putty, and sand away old paint to prepare surfaces for painting.

• A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation for scheduled shifts are required.
• DOT Certification is necessary, or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months.
• Minimum Education requirement is a GED or higher.
• Experience operating forklifts and bobcats is advantageous.
• Knowledge of sandblasting and industrial construction is a plus.
• Successful completion of a drug screening is mandatory during onboarding.
• A background check is required.
• Preferred qualifications include industrial sandblasting, industrial coating, and commercial painting experience.
• Candidates should have strong time management, communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and have physical strength and dexterity.
• 2+ years of work experience and completed an apprenticeship is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of basic painting materials and tools is preferred, but we will provide training.
