Shipping Coordinator – Domestic and International

Shipping Coordinator / Import Production Assistant – Mandarin Speaking

This position is filled by a Mandarin-speaking individual who excels at putting things exactly where they belong. The ideal candidate is a team player who possesses exceptional communication skills, has an ability to learn quickly, and exhibits a drive to constantly strive for perfection.

Job Responsibilities:

· Purchase Orders:

o Track PO progress and update respective departments.

o Create PO processing priority list.

o Handle and track emergency requests.

o Update PO progress checklist for each order.

o Coordinate with Sourcing department for product samples.

· Package Design Tracking:

o Assist Design team with relevant product information for the creation of packaging (dimensions, etc.).

o Proofread all package artworks, correcting any errors based on customers’ guidelines.

o Source package suppliers, negotiate package price, and determine which supplier is the optimal choice.

o Keep track of inspection/QC reports.

o Coordinate with factories on product status and packaging issues.

o Release artwork after checking packaging instructions, ensuring that it aligns with company requirements.

o Release packaging artwork to factories.

· Manual Design Tracking:

o Request working samples, drafting manuals, line art, and high-res images for manual design.

o Send user manuals to factories, ensuring all information is correct before sending them out for mass production.

· Review Package Samples:

o Request packet samples from factories, discuss them with Sourcing, and prepare comments.

o Give feedback to factories on samples and approve final packaging samples to proceed with mass production.

o Coordinate with Sourcing and Import teams for approval of package prices.

o Request product package PDQ samples as requested by salespeople and buyers from factories.

· Oversee Mass Production Samples:

o Request mass production samples from factories, keeping track of the delivery schedule.

o Update all records in digital databases.

o Provide package feedback as advised by Sales and Sourcing teams.

Ideal Qualifications/Skills:

Must know QuickBooks
Have 1+ years of experience in this field
Should be wiling and able to adjust in a fast paced environment.
Is fast in data entry
The candidate is required to have a bachelors degree
Knowledge of excel is a must.
