We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Sample Cutter. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Laying out pattern onto fabric and cutting out all pieces in order to complete sample
  • For all protos, sales samples, fabric test and photo/advertising garments
  • Involves laying out pattern pieces most efficiently to maximize fabric usage to reduce waste
  • Recording the amounts of fabrics (self and lining) for costing purpose (yield)
  • Making markers/ model before cutting to aid in cutting by hand (utilizing scissors, round wheel or straight knife) or Gerber cutter
  • Maintain a weekly productivity log
  • Including style cut, quantity, yield and length of time to complete
