Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Job Summary:

The Fulfillment Associate I, under the direction of the Fulfillment Manager, is responsible for safe, accurate and damage-free picking and loading of outbound customer orders/transfers. The incumbent may operate an industrial saw to make samples for inventory. This team member will display a commitment to our values and operate in a manner that provides value to our team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Contribute to accident-free operations and compliance to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations.
  • Operate forklift to safely load outbound shipments of TimberTech product, to safely unload inbound receivables, and to move material within facility.
  • Create and maintain paperwork for all outbound shipments.
  • Verify that outbound shipments are damage-free and match packing list exactly.
  • Perform loading and warehouse activities, including, but not limited, to order picking, preparation and shipment.
  • Operate saw to support sample cutting and supply sample cutting area with product.
  • Label and box samples.
  • Maintain clean and orderly conditions in warehouse and loading areas using workplace organization methods (i.e. 6S).
  • Perform additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Demonstrated ability to work within company values
  • 0-1 year of experience in a similar position preferred
  • Ability to operate industrial saw and mechanical inclination highly desirable
  • Forklift certification or ability to be trained on the job
  • Basic computer skills required. Knowledge of web-based shipping programs and familiarity with shipping terminology strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong reading, mathematical and comprehension skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to operate RF Scanner and basic computer skills for DSI program
  • Ability to work outside in all-weather elements
  • Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment
  • Work schedule flexibility to accommodate the needs of the business
